This Privacy Policy explains what SwimPro Network collects, why we collect it, and how it is used. SwimPro is a trade-only network for pool professionals, manufacturers, and distributors — not a consumer social app for homeowners. We speak as the SwimPro Network team. There is no named founder on this page.

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to swimpronetwork.com, the SwimPro app on your Home Screen, Shop tools, Live, messages, jobs, invoices, and pay links we host.

Customer invoice pay links (`/pay/…`) are for a homeowner paying their pool company. That page is not SwimPro membership. We still process the payment data described below so the dealer can get paid.

2. What we collect

Account: name, work email, password hash (we never store the plain password), Google or X sign-in identifiers if you use those buttons, and the session cookie that keeps you signed in.

Trade profile: company name, role (pool pro, manufacturer, or distributor), city, state, optional contractor license, optional branch or plant number, headline, about, photo, and phone or website you add.

Network activity: posts, comments, reactions, messages, job listings, live sessions, training posts, promotions, and files or photos you upload.

Shop books (pool companies): customers, routes, quotes, invoices, inventory, chemistry logs, crew, and related business records you enter. That data belongs to your company. We host it so you can run the shop.

Billing: plan, trial dates, last four of a card, brand, expiry, and Stripe PaymentMethod IDs when you subscribe to Shop, Unlimited Live, or ads. We do not collect or store full card numbers or CVC. Stripe is the processor.

Dealer collections: when a homeowner pays a dealer invoice, Stripe processes the card on that dealer’s connected Stripe account. We store payment status, last four, and a Stripe payment id — not the PAN.

Support: password-reset requests, emails you send to the contact below, and admin review notes on trade accounts.

Technical: cookies and similar storage for sign-in, install-to-Home-Screen, and basic usage (pages opened) so the product can run and the operator can see what is used.

3. Stripe (payments)

Stripe, Inc. is our payment processor for SwimPro subscriptions (Shop, Unlimited Live, ads) and for dealer invoice card payments via Stripe Connect.

Card details are entered in Stripe’s hosted fields (Stripe.js / Payment Element). SwimPro’s servers receive only tokens or PaymentMethod IDs. Dealers connect with Stripe-hosted Account Links. We do not ask dealers to paste secret API keys.

Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to data Stripe holds. Payouts go to the bank the dealer (or SwimPro, for platform charges) added in Stripe.

4. How we use it

To run the trade network: sign-in, your profile, feed, jobs, messages, Live, Learn, and Shop tools you turn on.

To bill paid plans and ads, and to let dealers collect on invoices.

To review new accounts as trade-only and to delete accounts that are not trade.

To email a password-reset link when you ask for one, and to answer support mail at the contact below.

To keep the product up (security, abuse, backups) and to see aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and sign-in

We use a session cookie (and, in some browsers, a bearer token) so you stay signed in until you tap Sign out. That is required for the product to work.

Home Screen install uses the web app manifest and an icon. Analytics of page opens is first-party, for operating the site — not a third-party ad tracker on this policy’s date.

6. Who we share with

Other members see the profile and posts you publish on the network. Messages go to the people you message. Invoice pay links show your company name to the customer you billed.

Processors: Stripe (payments), email delivery if we send a reset link, hosting and database providers that run the site. They only get what they need to do that job.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to stop violence or fraud. We do not sell member lists.

7. How long we keep it

Account and shop records stay until you delete the account or an admin removes a non-trade account. You can delete your own account from Edit profile.

Password-reset tokens expire in a few hours and are one-time. Session cookies last until you sign out or they expire.

Billing records (amount, last four, Stripe ids) are kept for books and disputes.

8. Your choices

You can edit your profile, change your password, turn auto-pay off, and delete your account.

To request a copy or deletion beyond self-serve tools, email the contact below. Trade-only access may still require a company name and role before the feed opens.
